About the Assignment

In this assignment, you will strengthen software quality and delivery predictability in a connected product development environment within the automotive industry. This is a hands-on, system-level role where you work across teams, suppliers, tooling, and ways of working to reduce risk and turn quality insights into measurable improvements.

You will take ownership of how quality is followed up, improved, and translated into action. The role combines analysis, coordination, and practical improvement work, with a strong focus on test effectiveness, KPI relevance, root cause analysis, and release readiness. It is a strong fit if you enjoy driving quality at scale and influencing both engineering practices and product outcomes.

Job Description

• You will lead data-driven quality improvement initiatives and make sure findings move into a shared improvement backlog.
• You will analyze quality issues using structured methods, break down root causes, and turn them into clear actions.
• You will improve test effectiveness, automation signal quality, and the reliability of CI/CD feedback.
• You will define and follow up software quality KPIs so they reflect product health and customer impact.
• You will conduct gap and risk analysis, including defect patterns, fault clustering, code hotspots, and code health needs.
• You will support risk mitigation work in Jira and help teams clarify ownership, testability, and technical debt.
• You will coordinate cross-functional investigations, align stakeholders, and challenge priorities when needed.
• You will contribute to ways of working for QA, end-to-end responsibility, verification, and quality strategy.

Requirements

• Strong background in software quality engineering, continuous improvement, and system-level quality ownership.
• Experience with CI/CD, automation, defect analysis, and test strategy.
• Ability to analyze complex quality issues and drive investigations to clear, actionable outcomes.
• Experience in cross-functional coordination and stakeholder alignment.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and modern software engineering practices.
• Ability to complete required background checks for a sensitive assignment, including criminal, education, employment, identity, and citizenship verification.
• Fluent English.
