About the Assignment
You will join a CloudOps team that builds and maintains the cloud foundation used to deploy and run software solutions in a complex enterprise environment. In this role, you will work at the intersection of infrastructure, automation, and engineering enablement, helping teams turn standards and architectural direction into reliable, practical implementation in AWS.
You will collaborate closely with cloud architects, security specialists, DevOps engineers, SysOps and Cloud engineers, and developers. The focus is on creating environments that fit the products, improving how code is built and released, and strengthening the overall reliability and maintainability of the platform. Job Description
- You will build, maintain, and improve cloud infrastructure in AWS to support software deployments and stable operations.
- You will work closely with developers to streamline how code is built, tested, deployed, and run in production.
- You will define, implement, and monitor automated processes across development, testing, release, deployment, updates, and support.
- You will help choose and support CI/CD tooling that matches the team’s needs and ways of working.
- You will drive improvements in infrastructure as code, scripting, and operational processes to increase efficiency and stability.
- You will review, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure issues, and help address defects when needed.
- You will take end-to-end ownership of delivered solutions with a focus on quality, reliability, and maintainability.
- You will contribute to ongoing feature enhancements and long-term initiatives, turning strategic concepts into practical solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum 7–10 years of proven experience within relevant IT roles.
- A minimum of 4 years' experience working as a DevOps Engineer.
- Proven experience and clear understanding of IT operations processes.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
- Solid experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform.
- Experience with Linux-based infrastructure.
- Excellent scripting skills in Python and Shell.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD tool sets, open-source technologies, and cloud services.
- Ability to effectively resolve IT issues in real-world environments and strong troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication skills in English.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with AWS serverless services.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
- Basic experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- An IT university degree.
- AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, or other relevant operations certifications.
