About the Assignment

You will step into a key architectural role in a complex connectivity domain where modern digital services, security, and scalability need to work together from the start. In this assignment, you will help shape architectural direction early in the product lifecycle and turn business needs into sustainable technical solutions.

You will work closely with product, business, and engineering stakeholders to define solution designs that support both current delivery and long-term strategy. The environment includes distributed systems, cloud platforms, and high-load applications, with a strong focus on secure design, performance, and service evolution. You will also contribute to the adoption of AI and other emerging technologies within the domain. This is a strong opportunity for you who want to influence both architecture and the future direction of a technically advanced area.

Job Description

• You will drive and specify architectural solutions together with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Software Engineers, Solution Architects, and Enterprise Architects during early product phases.
• You will produce design artifacts such as high-level and detailed solution designs, database schemas, and system workflows.
• You will ensure that security is built into proposed solutions from the beginning.
• You will communicate architecture and design decisions to development teams and help clarify requirements with business and technical stakeholders.
• You will help make sure technical solutions align with the long-term strategic development plan.
• You will proactively contribute to the adoption of AI and emerging technologies within the domain.
• You may lead cross-functional architecture work and help define the domain vision and roadmap together with Product Owners.
• You will support the design of high-load applications with focus on scalability and performance optimization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of IT experience, whereof 5+ years as a Solution Architect or similar
• Proven leadership skills as lead architect
• Experience from Agile, SAFe, DevSecOps
• Experience from working with Telematics/Connectivity technologies
• Experience of Microservices architecture
• Experience in designing high load applications and performance optimization
• Knowledge of computer networks
• Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, JMS, Linux, relational and NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably AWS and/or Azure, and serverless technologies
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent education, training, and experience
• Ability to complete a background check before assignment start

Nice to have

• Experience of driving change in ways of working related to frameworks and methods within architecture
• Broad experience of software development and service delivery
• Strong ability to translate business needs into technical solutions in collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders
