About the Role
You will take a key role in strengthening environment, health and safety in a complex automotive organization with both office operations and market-facing activities. The role spans environmental compliance, work environment management and sustainability processes, with close collaboration across HR, sustainability and the wider business.
You will act as the go-to specialist for EHS-related matters, helping managers and teams work in a more proactive, structured and compliant way. This is a broad opportunity where you get to influence processes, tools and ways of working across the organization.
Job Description
- You will establish and improve structured EHS management processes for the organization’s own operations.
- You will drive systematic work environment management, including SAM and OSA, and support managers with risk assessments and action plans.
- You will own the incident and near-miss process, from reporting and investigation to follow-up and improvement.
- You will deliver training, guidance and practical tools in areas such as work environment, ergonomics and preventive safety work.
- You will support markets, workshops and establishment projects with compliance readiness, local EHS requirements and sustainable ways of working.
- You will coordinate work environment forums, safety rounds and structured follow-up activities.
- You will manage sustainability compliance processes and maintain the sustainability compliance matrix.
- You will handle dialogue and reporting towards authorities related to EHS matters, including permits where needed.
- You will coordinate ISO14001-related activities together with relevant stakeholders, including audits, corrective actions and management reviews.
- You will maintain and develop documentation, systems and tools used to manage EHS and legal compliance.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience working with work environment, EHS, compliance or related areas in a complex organization.
- Experience with systematic work environment management (SAM) and organizational and social work environment (OSA).
- Experience working with incident management, investigations and follow-up processes.
- Fluent Swedish and English.
- A structured, thorough and methodical way of working.
- Strong drive and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build networks across the organization.
Nice to have
- Good understanding of Swedish work environment legislation, the Swedish Environmental Code and ISO-based management systems.
- Experience supporting office-based, knowledge-intensive organizations.
- Experience in project management.
