About the Role

You will join an automotive environment focused on advanced and automated driving, where robust test methods are essential to safe and reliable vehicle functions. In this role, you work close to the vehicle and the technology, combining test execution with continuous improvement of test approaches, methods, and processes. You will validate functions such as Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Detection, and Forward Collision Warning, and help ensure that software and hardware perform as intended in real vehicle conditions.

The role spans vehicle integration, test planning, execution, analysis, and issue reporting. You will also contribute to the definition of test requirements across the full functional chain, including sensors, sensor data fusion, and driving control functions. Job Description

• You will analyze, standardize, and improve test approaches, methods, and processes.
• You will execute testing and evaluation of advanced and automated driving functions, including AEB, LDW, BSD, and FCW.
• You will bring vehicles up with the correct software and hardware needed for each test activity.
• You will take main responsibility for open-loop and closed-loop vehicle testing for ADAS features.
• You will collect data on public roads and test tracks as part of open-loop testing.
• You will perform sanity, smoke, and functional testing in closed-loop scenarios, including NCAP and requirement-based testing.
• You will support development test requests, such as functionality verification and bug validation.
• You will carry out exploratory testing, including scenarios with interaction between multiple features.
• You will summarize test results after initial analysis and report issues in a structured way.
• You will support test campaigns, test expeditions, customer demos, and vehicle maintenance activities.
• You will contribute to test procedures and documentation, and help define test requirements for sensors, sensor fusion, and driving control functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, or relevant education in autonomous vehicle control or a similar field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in vehicle and/or ADAS component testing.
• Experience with ECU flashing and data logging.
• Foundational understanding of automotive test processes such as ASPICE and ISO26262.
• Experience with issue tracking systems such as Jira.
• Driving license, category B.
• Fluent English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of inspection and testing methods, procedures, and equipment used in automotive testing.
• Knowledge of UNECE/EU regulations, NHTSA/EuNCAP protocols, and international standards such as ISO/SAE.
• Experience with tools and equipment such as OxTS and DTC equipment.
• Experience or knowledge in vehicle electronics, including vehicle communication systems such as CAN, Vector, and NI products.
• Ability to understand technical specifications, inspection methods, and electronic schematics.
• Programming knowledge in tools or languages used for inspection and testing equipment, such as C, Python, Vector scripting language, and NI LabVIEW.
