About the Role

You will join a product area that supports range planning for a global home furnishing retailer. The platform helps teams make data-driven decisions about article selection and supports both customer meeting point planning and retail establishment processes. In this role, you will help evolve a business-critical tool where product development, data integrations, and cloud modernization come together.

You will work across the full stack in a modern environment with Vue 3 on the frontend, Python and FastAPI on the backend, and integrations toward analytics and data platforms. A key part of the role is supporting the platform's transition from GCP and Kubernetes-based hosting toward Azure-based solutions. This is a strong opportunity if you enjoy combining hands-on engineering with cloud transformation in a data-rich retail setting.

Job Description

• You will develop and maintain a Vue 3 single-page application using Vuetify and SCSS.
• You will build, improve, and scale backend services in Python and FastAPI.
• You will work with data integrations and APIs connected to BigQuery, Databricks, and the platform's data layer.
• You will help drive the cloud transition by supporting solutions that move from GCP and Kubernetes-based hosting toward Azure.
• You will implement secure authentication and contribute to secure API design.
• You will automate and maintain DBT pipelines that update BigQuery tables and support broader data pipeline work.
• You will enable and improve Excel export functionality using XlsxWriter.
• You will contribute to CI/CD, environment-based configuration, and collaborative development practices that keep the platform scalable and reliable.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience
• Strong expertise in Vue.js, Python, FastAPI, and cloud-native architecture
• Experience with Auth0 and Kubernetes
• Experience working with both GCP and Azure as cloud providers
• Familiarity with CI/CD, environment-based configuration, and secure API design
• Ability to write clean, scalable code in a collaborative development environment

• SQL
• GraphQL
• dbt
• BigQuery
• Delta Sharing, Databricks, or similar analytics and data-platform integrations
• Experience with Excel export generation using XlsxWriter
