About the Role

You will join a global team that designs, builds, and manages network infrastructure in a complex powertrain and manufacturing environment. The focus is on keeping wired and wireless networks secure, reliable, and high-performing across an international organization, while supporting continuous improvement in how the network platform is monitored, automated, and operated.

This role gives you the chance to work close to critical infrastructure and influence how solutions such as Cisco ISE and Catalyst Center are optimized for long-term operational excellence. Job Description

• You will design, implement, and manage the organization’s network infrastructure across wired and wireless environments.
• You will help strengthen security, stability, and performance in the network landscape.
• You will optimize and evolve solutions such as Cisco ISE and Catalyst Center, or equivalent technologies.
• You will work with monitoring and automation to improve visibility, efficiency, and day-to-day operations.
• You will contribute to troubleshooting and continuous improvements in a collaborative global team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or their equivalent.
• Proficiency in network protocols and technologies, especially 802.1X.
• Hands-on monitoring and automation experience.
• Solid experience managing firewalls, for example Fortigate or Palo Alto.
• In-depth knowledge of technologies like SD-WAN and MPLS.

Nice to have

• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices, including segmentation, NAC, firewalling, and zero trust concepts.
• Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and observability tools such as SNMP, NetFlow, logs, and packet inspection.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise wireless networking, including design, deployment, RF optimization, troubleshooting, and 802.11 / 802.1x.
• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, Ansible, Python, or similar.
• Familiarity with SDN technologies and modern network automation concepts.
